Christmas 09

We enjoyed a quiet morning opening presents and eating breakfast, then the box opening began followed by the clean up crew of mom and dad. Santa was good to us as you can see by the photo of the before tree and they were all happy as seen in the after photos.

Later that day I traveled to MA with the kids for Christmas #2, see them curbside at the airport in the new jackets Daddy bought. Saturday morning they opened up a tree full of presents at my parents house and we had Patrick's family over for dinner. Eagan was getting up from the table one too many times and Uncle Patrick found the duck tape. It scared Felicia with the loud noise and sudden loud laughter. Johnathen and Aubrie stayed over for the breakfast at the Mug, yummy.

The kids has snow ball fight, sorry no photos it was cold out there. They love playing in the garage with the basket ball hoop and in the basement with the pool table.

Patrick and I took my four, Johnathen and Aubrie to see Chipmunks II it was a sequel, cute. Then he took them home.

Monday after we got a few items at the store and played it what was left of the snow. I did take photos on. The boys had Bailey from across the street over and played outside and in the garage most of the day. Uncle Neil and Richard were over for most of the afternoon and had lazgna for dinner. We also played a few games of SLAM scrabble, so much fun.

Patrick brought the kids back for another night of dinner and you can see Felicia's reaction to his visit. She was afraid and clung to my leg.

On the way to the airport it started to snow. We had an hour on the play while we de-iced, so fun with no technology and 4 kids. They survived and we finally got home.

Caleb is 10

Well Caleb had a weekend of celebration for his 10th birthday. It is hard to believe he is that old. We started on friday at Carrabba's because the boys both recieved principal's 200 club for great behavior. I gave the waitress a note and she brought a sundae with a candle, he said why and looked confused then embarrassed but like it.

Saturday we took some of his friends to Astro Skate for the evening. It was great fun and all boys.

Sunday we went to Sonny's to eat, his choice and had cake from Cold Stone. The family got a new Trek bike that he loves.

Halloween 09

I will just put it out there first, no pumpkin this year. Ok, we had a great time trick or treating with our neighborhood friends. Dayne the toothless wonder got toothpaste and they all got tons of candy.

Thanksgiving 2009

I started preparing for this event November 3rd with an email list of food. We had 23 people, 11 adults and 12 kids, so planning was a key element for success. There were 3 turkeys, 1 oven roasted the day before, 1 oven roasted that day and one deep friend by Chris. All were yummy. The children played so nicely together all day, no fights or yelling, while parents enjoy themselves in conversation. It was so nice to catch up with Monica and Alexis, our florida families.

Tom and Jess came over from Stuart. We had dinner the night before at Piasano's with them and they came for turkey the next day along with Papa and Martha.

Greg and Alia made the journey from NC with Sienna and Wyeth. We were very happy to have them come for a couple of days. Of course we had to split our time because Ann and John were down for their fall vacation, so brunch with them on Friday was so yummy also. We hosted all of it so the kids could run amuck, which they did.

Thanks to everyone for a great few days.
