Fun Times

A family bike ride on Friday was so much fun until the wind made me stop dead in my tracks.  We rode all the way down to North Shore before the wind stopped me from going forward.

On our way home we stopped at the half circle and watched the manatees then at Coffee Pot park to play.  The ice cream man made an appearance and we got yummy treats.  Off to the house so the kids could go to kids night out.

Chris and I grabbed dinner at Chipotle Grill, we have decided to try new places when the kids are there, it is fun.  Later we went to help the economy and bought a king size bed. Chris got the guy to give us 2 $100 tempurpedic pillows, 2 blankets and 2 mattress covers for $230, it should have cost $500.  He was very happy with his wheeling and dealing.

Saturday was soccer again, the other team was short so we let our guys rotate to their team.  We won again, 3-0 for the season.  They are doing great, passing to each other and really working together as a team, Go Green Goo.  Then we spent the day cleaning the playroom and office to move futons and beds around.  They did help a lot.  Go Baldwin kids.

Felicia

Miss Felicia got a package in the mail from Auntie Saysha's house, it contained pretty flip flop sandals.

She loves to sit in boxes and other crazy places.

She also has an affection for hats, take a look.

Felicia loves to dress up at the Y but now does it at home and she spins in the skirt.

Eagan is 4!!

Wow, Eagan is four years old
today, where is the time going.  He helped me make cup cakes yesterday for today.  On friday I sent in a cookie cake with kung fu panda on it for his class to have for snack, only a small piece can home.  He also helped with the cookie mix, kind of he licked the mixing spoon.  I think they all enjoyed it.

He wanted to go to McDonald's for breakfast which was great for us it is raining and doesn't look like it will stop anytime soon.  We watch Bolt while Felicia napped, ok I did also.  While I napped the sun appeared so out the door we went.  We took Eagan to the toy store to spend Papa's money and hit the park so they could run about for little bit everyone was having fun until I pulled my back out just taking Eagan off the slide, don't no how I did that but man I hurt.

We grabbed chinese for dinner and enjoyed cup cakes and presents after dinner.  He loved all the presents that people sent him thanks grammie and grampie, grandma ann and john, uncle greg and aunt alia and grandpa tom.

Happy Birthday Eagan!!!!

Our weekend

It seems that I can only get to blog on the weekend stuff, so here it goes.

Friday I held a kitchen table talk with MOM'S LINC and to my surprise Chris took a cab home.  Luckily it was a small group, unlike the last one that was 16 strong.  After we got Eagan from school and had a little lunch Chris and I set off in search of new bikes.  Our were stolen from the garage awhile ago.  We each got new Trek bikes and I had a child set for Felicia, which she loves.  Later we just hung out at home with the kids.

Saturday off to soccer at the Y, my team won again but it is so nice to see them grow as a team.  Grandma Ann and John came to watch the games then we went home.  We decided to get some Chick-fil-A and go to Crisp park for the afternoon.  They didn't play on the playground but after eating headed over to the water to fish and cast net.  After Grandma Ann and John went home I took the boys for a ride on their bikes with Felicia, Eagan stayed and helped daddy work on the boats power pole.

Now sunday, the boys and I biked to CCD at St Raphael's church, it is about 5 miles away.  They did great.  I had planned a surprise for Chris.  I got a sitter and got us tickets to see Jeff Dunham.  He is the funniest comedian with awesome puppets.  We had a blast, laughed our buts off.

Wow, What a Weekend!!

Friday started with Chris coming home early, 11 am instead of 4 pm.  He rested then we headed to Tampa to meet his mom and John but there was a mix up so we went home to meet them.  We had a lovely dinner at Carraba's then ice cream at Cold Stone, YUMMY!  It was so nice to visit with them.

Saturday began early with our first soccer games, yes I am coaching my big boys.  We scored 10 goals to 0 and we had great fun.  Eagan's team was scoring goals also.  Love our soccer at the YMCA.

Next off to a 40th birthday party at Ft Desoto, happy birthday Patrick, we had a ton of fun catching up with longtime friends (Cooks, Russells, Hempels)  The cook out was great and the kids loved the Wiggles pinata, Caleb broke it.  We had to bolt before the cheeseburger and spongebob cakes but thanks for fun.

Off to Laurel's 5th birthday party at Del Holmes park, way cool place.  Ms Meg had many doggie games planned and yummy snacks.  Everyone had a great time but the day ended on a sad note, the birthday girl broke her arm after everyone left the party.  She if fine but no more soccer for her, Eagan is so sad.  We cleaned the kids up and off to kid's night out for a few hours of quiet time for mom and dad.  They were still ready to go, go, go so it worked out well.

Sunday was our day.  Chris had arranged for a sitter to come about 9 am and off we went with the boat.  We have never taken the boat our fishing like that before and it won't be the last time.  We had so much fun, talking, laughing and losing our shrimp to sheeps head.

Thank goodness the weekend is over.

Soccer

Well it has started, SOCCER.  We know have all 3 boys playing and mom is coaching the big boys.  So far it is going well, Eagan is beside himself happy and shows his gear to everyone.

He buddy Laurel is on his team, what a pair they will be.

Food

Corn-on-the-cob, she loves it.

The donut twins, yummy look at their mouths.

Harley

The cat is coming down the stairs when it is quiet.  On wednesday night she sat on the landing taunting Boomer who was sitting outside the slider, yelping to come in.  To funny.

Funny Stuff

Last Monday our carpool asked if I could watch her kids while she finished working, sure what is 3 more and they are girls.  They played outside, I got 4 kids homework done and they had dinner by 5:30 p. m. She was very thankful.  They ate so nicely, talked and joked it was great.  Now I know what dinner at a big family is like but happy with the size of ours.

Chris usually cooks breakfast on weekend mornings and most times the boys want to help.  Check out the photo.

Next, while we were cleaning up on saturday morning for our friends visit, Dayne came out dressed in one of Felicia's dress up skirts.  So funny.

Last but not least, Miss Felicia is crazy spaghetti face girl.  Enough said.

Crazy Weekend

We started Friday night at Olive Garden for dinner, a man from the table near us stopped by and commented on how good are children were at dinner.  It is nice when that happens.  Then we stopped by a furniture store to check out recliner, the arm fell off ours and we bought 2 automatic ones.

Saturday started with cleaning the house for visitors later in the afternoon.  Everyone picked in with help from cleaning toys to washing windows and swiffering.  The kids are great helpers.  Chris took Eagan to get the chairs and we all love them.  The chairs were in place and the house looking awesome we loaded the boat with the kayak and went to shell key.  2 hours of fun and laughs, thanks to Chris we always have a good time.

Sunday I took the kids to CCD and attended mass while Chris gave Felicia her nap and packed to go out of town for work.  We just putz about the house until we took him to the airport.  Caleb went to a friends house and the others played outside all afternoon except when they went upstairs to play with Harley.  It is so funny because Boomer sits at the bottom of the stairs waiting for them.

Overall this weekend was fun with a little stress, the kids get cranky when they know Daddy has to leave on an airplane.

Characters

Everyone knows that Felicia is very much a character, we call her Ms. Thing.  She loves to dress up and eat.  I think that those are her favorite things to do besides play with her babies.

Eagan is a very funny guy who comments on life in such a dry manner that he is hilarious.  Some days he is very pensive, as in the photo.

Girls NIght Out

On Saturday the girls decided it was time we saw each other.  We are in so many different directions now that the kids are older, we don't see each other on a daily or weekly basis like we did when we all had toddlers.  We met at Olive Garden and had dinner with many memories and funny stories to share.

Thanks everyone for a great night.
