Happy Halloween

Trick or Treat was the name of the game.  Everyone had a great halloween.  At school Eagan had a parade and tons of fun playing games, eating candy and reading stories.  The boys are too old to dress up but they came home with goodies and fun word searches from the teachers.

We carved the pumpkin after school and rested.  After dinner we got into our costumes.  Felicia was so excited to get into her bumble bee outfit, it was like a race.  Face painting was new for us this year and I think I did a good job.  Chris thought Eagan looked like spiderman after he got his mask taken off but oh well he was happy and could see.  Caleb's ghost didn't work out so he went as a soccer player.  Dayne got his face painted but in teeth and wore a cape, what is he?  A vampire.

Now that everyone is dressed and Chris got home to eat off to the Plexico house to meet the rest of the trick or treating crew.  Wow I think there were a good 20+ kids there, but what fun.  They all stayed together, Eagan rode in Meg's wagon and Laurel took his spot in the double stroller with Felicia.  She didn't want to get candy, she enjoyed the tootsie rolls from the Plexico candy bin.

At the end of the night we check out the candy and can you tell who tried to get HER grubbie little hands on everyones stash.  She is quick.

Happy Halloween to all.

Cold Day At Coffee Pot

Eagan was so excited to meet JuJu at Coffee Pot Park, it seems we have only seen then at the Y lately.  We bundled up because it has been record lows her in FL, hats and jacket weather in the am.  All of us played and Felicia finally fell down the tub slide with a fearful shreak, sorry it was funny, she never went to that area on the play set after.

Then off for a walk to see the manatees but they were of on a swim somewhere else Eagan informed us.  On the way back he and Juju threw rocks in the water, fun and chilly.

Pumpkin Hunting

We braved the cold weather and went for a pumpkin tonight after our dinner at Chick-fil-A.  It was game night there and the kids played break the ice, connect four and chutes and ladders, what fun.  We decided it was time to get our pumpkin so off we went.  Felicia got out of the stroller for a photo and then got back in to hold the pumpkin.  Caleb picked one for school an experiment, update later.

Camping

Lake Kissimee fall 2008,  Stypinski, Sprague, Davis, Lopez and Baldwin families plus Hollis Plexico, first time camper, braved the weather and have a great time.  It rained off and on until noon on saturday but the kids didn't care and Denny made a great tarped off area with picnic tables and chairs for the adults.  I took 7 of them on a hike to the tower and saw some deer in the morning.  Later they rode off on bike and played games while the moms played boogle under the tarp, GO Kala she can make words.

After lunch some of us went out on boats while other stayed back to hike and fish.  We didn't fish but brought the Lopez family back because of boat problems. On our way in I was driving and as we got into the channel thought it would be great to have a photo of the sign but forgot I was driving and we got caught in some weeds.  Chris got us out with out even yelling at me but it was funny. No more photos while driving, lesson learned.

We went in search of the Stypinski boat but didn't find them so I drove us around lake kissimee.  The rest of the afternoon we fished off the dock and Aaron caught the most fish, Peighton, Evan, Aleryk and Hollis caught fish but Hollis caught the biggest of the weekend. Go girl!!!

Aaron Sprague celebrated his birthday with a few games and cupcakes they decorated.  His sister, Merideth celebrated her birthday also.  They kids chased each other with balloons tied to their ankles, very funny.

Sunday we eat breakfast and begin the back up stage, everyone is very sad and doesn't want to go.  The kids play and ride bikes while the adults take tents down and pack up all the camping gear.

Until next year!!!  we will add another day to the trip, it is so short.  Thanks everyone for such a great time.

Redneck Boys

A guy called Chris and asked what we were up to and he told the guy, Gerry, they boys were fishing off the boat from the driveway.  He said that is a redneck thing to do and Chris and I just laughed. Caleb was also trying to get caught on a fake hook, fishing for kids.  We are definitely southern folks now. Enjoy!!

Cold Sunday

They boys wanted to play outside but said it was to cold, out came the gloves and hats.  You people up north will get a laugh out of them but they were very cold.

Felcia's ER Visit

I went out to ask Chris and the boys what they wanted for dinner, they were in the garage fixing bikes.  A I walked to the door she was standing there with blood dripping from her mouth.  I tried to look at the lip but she wouldn't have it.  I decided to take her to the ER because it looked like it might have gone all the way thru.  After only I hour at All Children's it was cut in a good spot so no stitches were needed, yeah!!  It looks awfull, swollen and cut on both sides but she is eating and drinking just fine.

UPDATE:  She reopened the cut today so off to the doctors office with 4 kids and it isn't bad enough to stitch, yet. The week is still new.

11 Years Today

Chris and I have been married for 11 years, it seems long.  We have done so much in that time that our lives our completely different than when we moved here the year we were married.  We bought our house, had Caleb and Dayne.  Then decided to add onto the house after we had Eagan, but found out we were having Felicia during construction. We have traveled many places, the west coast, Las Vegas, BVI, St Marteen, Bahamas, Costa Rica and others, thanks Chris for so many wonderful memories.

We love the boat and I have found a hobby in fishing with Chris.  This Florida lifestyle suites our family well.  Our lives are complete even though we are always growing as a couple and family.  Our lives have balance, love and laughter even it is to combat the craziness of the everyday.  I thank God everyday for all that we have now and have accomplished in our 11 years of marriage and 16 years together.  love always

Visitors

My dad and brother came into town on friday because I scored them Red Sox vs. Rays tickets. Yes game 1 on the series, thanks Plexico's.  They were so excited I thought my brother would burst.  While they were here they got to see the boys play soccer at the YMCA, dad was impressed that the 2 small fries got to play inside at the kiddie corner while everyone else was outside playing.  At the soccer game dad sat far away so he could see both games, when Dayne finished his, he quietly snuck up on Grampie and dumped cold water on him.  It was so funny, he ran after Dayne with a hug smile, probably because it felt great.

The rest of the day we hung out since Dayne had a party to attend.  Chris got some alone time with Caleb and then they all worked on the boat trailer lights.  Sunday we got dad and Patrick on the boat, we saw dolphins before we got out of the channel.  We fished and swam at Shell Key, I think dad liked it he actually swam.  Felicia went right to Grampie but it took most of the weekend for Uncle Patrick to get a hug from her but she gave hugs and kisses before they let for the airport.

Thanks for the visit, we will miss you.

Felicia

She is the funniest kid.  Felicia loves peanut butter and fluff like her boys, just look at the messy girl.  The other day she was playing with the babies and I found her in the baby bed having a snack.  She is soo cute.

Soccer at the Y

Our season has started and they are on fire.  Dayne scored 3 goals for his team while Caleb scored after taking the ball from the sweeper position.  I was so mad I put the camera away already.  He was one on one with the goalie and SCORED!! Go Caleb.  Dayne dances around the other players and is generous with his passing.  They are really enjoying themselves and Chris was there to watch.

Baby Girl Plays

Felicia spent over 30 minutes playing by herself with the babies. She washed them with a cloth, then but them to bed covered in a blanket.  The whole time the other 3 ran around the house hurting each other.  I actually said, "Why can't you play nice like you sister."  She was so cute

Story Time

Felicia really like the story time.  She is starting to dance and move with the movements of the song.  She still sits on my lap for the stories but I think it is a good time for her.

Where is Eagan Sleeping?

Last night I found him bundled up at the landing and then this morning found him again.  Caleb closed the bottom gate after getting up and Eagan couldn't get out.  He decided to just wait or sleep till someone came for him.  So that is were Felicia and I found him just after 7 am.
