Chick-fil-A Tuesdays

Everyone knows I like a good deal, especially when it comes to feeding our family.  Tuesday's is family night at the LEG, as Dayne had named it.  This means kids eat free with an adult meal, great for us.  Caleb and I eat our meals and the rest are free!!!  Each week is a different activity, game night, balloon guy, ice cream sundaes, or face painting.  Quess what tonight was?  So now you know where we eat on tuesday nights.

Our Weekend with out Daddy

Some of you know that Chris is out of town for work, yes on his birthday.  So mommy kicked into overdrive.  Soccer on saturday for the boys, the little guys in kiddie corner.  Caleb scored a goal and we lost count as to how many Dayne scored for his team.   After I outsourced my to oldest to friends, thanks Aaron and Peighton, so the little one got a nap and mommy some downtime.  On Sunday we packed up and headed to see the Reddan's.  I hope we were as good a distraction for them as they were for us.

Check out our princess' and race car, this is what I find after bathtime.  Little miss Felicia has started playing dress up early,  I came into the kiddie corner at the Y on friday to them all dressed up.

Oh! yeah Dayne lost his first tooth. He is growing to fast.  I think he will be our jack-o-lantern this year.

Reddan's in Florida

Unfortunate circumstance have brought Pete, Kate and Dakota here to FL.  Pete's dad passed away, such a great man. We will miss him.  I packed the kids and drove 2 hours for a little playtime for Dakota.  I hope it helped.  We love you guys very much.

What the Fluff?

Any one that nows me, knows we love PBF or fluffernutter sandwiches.  This weekend in Somerville, MA  they are having a festival revolved around the white yummy stuff.  There is a comic book called Fluff boy.  Who knew??  I think every kid I know has been turned onto the stuff by our family, go fluff.

Silly Daddy

I took Eagan out for ice cream on Sunday afternoon since the other boys had things to do.  When I got back Felicia and her daddy were wearing swim diaper, clean, on their heads.  She thought that was the funniest thing ever, laughing and letting me take photos.  Chris on the other had was less appreciative of the photo opportunity.

Where is Eagan Sleeping?

He is at it again.  I went up to bed last week and there was Eagan wrapped up in his blanket at the top landing of the stairs.  He was doing so well and lately we have found him on the floor next to us.  He couldn't find the blanket and there was a pillow case on the floor so he told me he slept it that.  What a character that one is.

Friends

After mass today Chris and Denny were getting firewood cut so Monica and I decided to divide and conquer. She had an errand on our end and I brought the rest over to her house to play.  They played ate lunch, we brought sandwich meats, and swam. Felicia tried going down the slide, she liked it only 2 times. After the big guys finished they joined in the fun, throwing the kids and just playing games.  Bob the dog even came in for a swim.  A day with friends is always a great day!!!! Thanks Stypinski gang.

Boating

After Dayne had soccer practice at the Y we headed out to Weedon Island area.  We got a spot at Crisp Park which is small and off we went.  We enjoyed playing in the water and on the sand bar.  Chris and I put a rod in while Felicia took her nap, many fish jumping but nothing eating our lures.  Hopefully next time they will bite.  We drove a bit and then headed in for our pot roast dinner that had been cooking all day, yummy!!! Good idea on my part to have it ready.  We are all tired since Felicia didn't fall asleep until 3 am this morning, we think it was a bad dream because she keeped looking for me.

Go Rays

A friend of ours works for the Rays and invited us to the game.  So we both dropped our kids off at kids night out and off we went.  The game was fun, an instant replay for Pena's home run in the 4th inning and off the mom's went to get the 7 kids.  It was great fun.

Fun Day

The school schedule is in full swing but I still want Eagan and Felicia to have fun.  So we have set aside Thursday to have fun, today we went to the pool with his girl, JuJu.  They had so much fun. Eagan went to the other side of the pool to play alone for a minute and we heard him singing "I love JuJu." it was so cute.  Felicia is a water  baby put the wings on and off she goes.  We plan to keep at the pool until it get to cold maybe till end of October, sorry for all you norther friends, haha.

Cub Scouts

We now have to in the scouts. Dayne joined this year and is so excited.  Last night was there first meeting and they learned how to fold the flag and what all 13 folds mean.  After for the craft they stamped leather with their level in scouts, Dayne is a tiger and Caleb a bear.

Felicia Time

We are finally getting in the groove of school and I took Felicia to her first story book at the library.  She seemed a little distracted by my bag so next week I will leave it in the car.  She liked the bubbles and the music but stories she was in the bag again.  It is so nice to have time with her.  It felt strange, like I had Caleb alone again, when I held her hand as we walked into the library.  Unfortunately Friday we had to go to Seminole for the boys, they needed their cub scouts stuff, it was an errand day for us.

Boating

We decided to take advantage of the beautiful pre-hurricane weather by going on the boat.  The day was wonderful.  The boys did some cast netting, I fished off their live bait and Chris caught bait with Eagan.  Felicia just followed me around while I thru a line out myself, lost 3 bait fish and called it a day.  Later Chris took the boys in the water to float on the tubes so the girls stayed on land and dug a hole with a wall around it.  I definitely go the quieter deal and Chris got, "let me jump on you dad".  She loved the hole and sat and played for an hour.  On the way in it turned ugly, the engine started to die.  We drifted into a dock and the family was so nice to let the kids and I sit on their lanai while we waited for SEA TOW.  Yeah it happened and the kids were fabulous and very patient.  Caleb and Dayne were giving suggestions as to what my be clogging the engine, sea weed or bad gas.  We were so proud of them, GO Baldwin kids!!!!

Felicia Check Up

Felicia went for her 15 month check up and wasn't to pleased with the visit.  She weighed in at 21 lbs and 4 oz, 32 1/4 inches long.  While waiting for the doctor she was kind enough to fill her diaper with #2 then when the check up started she wanted nothing to do with Dr. Morris.  The boys sat so nice but not her, kick and scream her way thru it.  The nurse came in and gave her 2 shots, not fun.  She cried for an hour after and didn't want to walk at all.  They hurt, so medication and nap were in order, after we got Eagan from school of course.  She is feeling much better now and is causing trouble in the playroom as I type.
