Get everyone ready, in the van and to the airport then threw security with ease. You get many looks when you take 5 kids to the airport but they are great travelers. At the Jetblue side we played on the new play area with things that move. We got to Ma and played in the yard then went to see Jamie for ice cream but she wasn't there but we enjoyed our ice cream anyway. Eagan moved onto the bike with training wheels now and is riding like a pro.

Boyd Hill Night Walk
Tuesday evening at 8 pm we headed to Boyd Hill on a night with thunder and little lightning and what fun we had. It started with seeing the rescued animals, hawk, bald eagle, owls. Then we started out on the path and saw the burn area from earlier this year and headed to the water were we saw 2 alligators. One was a mom protecting her nest, the other was a teenager. On the way back we spotted 3 different types of frogs with our red lights, cellophane strapped to our flashlights. There were also night spiders who build between the trees and then in the morning eat it before they go to sleep for the day.

The Weekend
Friday we dressed like cows for Chick-fil-A appreciation day and got FREE meals. The Rays mascot was handing out glasses, helmets, cups and stickers. The like him and the cows. Then we went to the pool via Thora's house since it was raining but it passed and off to the Elks pool. We headed out on the boat with 3 adults and 6 kids and what an adventure we had out on the water. After launching the boat we went out to see the Skyway Bridge and along the way we saw dolphins. As we got closer a cool turtle made an appearance, so neat. We stayed to see him again but we scared him away. I drove to the island from the bridge, my first time driving fast and for a long distance, I did alright. At the beach the boys took turns with cast nets, took a swim and played in the rain. Yes it spitted on us for about an hour but no one noticed since we were already wet. They caught pin fish, zebra and minnows. Johnathen caught a small in the cast net, we think they were unfortunately in the wrong spot because he is still learning to throw the pizza. Johnathen brought the boat threw the canal to the dock, the curvy way. Once the boat was cleaned by the crew they got cleaned themselves and headed to kids night out for dinner and fun. Everyone loved it and brought many art projects home with them. Sunday Chris and I took the kids to breakfast at Lenny's our Clearwater joint were the balloon guy is known to create some cool stuff. Caleb got a red dragon hat, Dayne got a monkey on a tree hat, Johnathen got a shark had and Eagan got a fishing pole hat while Felicia got a small pink flower. After that we came home for socks so we could go bowling, Johnathen won with 107. After that Chris helped the kids make pizza at the house. Each one was a masterpiece. Chris had to leave for the airport, so Felicia and I dropped him off at 5pm, when I got back I took 4 of them to the park since it was breezy out for July. Dayne and Johnathen raced once at the park and Eagan tried to keep up but fell behind. Now that the baths are done I hope bed time is soon to come. I think mom needs it since she had been sick since last night but I hope she enjoyed diner at Johny Rockets and the movie Hancock. We let her rest today.

Cake Faces
Visitors
On Monday Mom and Johnathen came for a 10 day visit, he has been packed since oh, May. Since they arrived on Monday we have been to the Elks on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and will go Friday. At the pool they love the diving board. Johnathen was braver today and did not wear his swimmies. Each boy tries to out do the next with their dives. Dayne has taken to touching the bottom, yes it is 12 feet down and he can do it. Felicia is wearing swimmies and has figured out that if you kick you legs you get places, just one thing she sticks her belly out. It is so funny. Tuesday we hit the RAT aka Chuck E Cheese and Saturday we are going on the boat. The boys have also been at soccer camp at the Y every morning. We tried to have a photo taken of all of them today and it was a bust, they were so HORRIBLE!! Anyway we will try again in August.

July 4th 2008
What a day, it started like others me going to the store for last minute party stuff and Chris stayed home. We split the kids in 1/2, I took 2 & 4 he had 1 & 3, I got a deal that day. I got home and undid the groceries, many BOGO this week saved over 50% of my bill. Anyway Caleb had many ideas already, go in the garage and work on wood but couldn't get in Chris told him I had the key. Lied just didn't want to go in and work, his other ideas were build a regatta ship, go to the park and cast net and a few other I can't remember now. We laughed at he told me all this. After a good laugh we loaded everyone up and went to crisp park to cast net. Chris threw and after I tried a few failed attempts yet still caught fish Caleb finally tried and did well. Eagan played ball with a border collie named Meg, Dayne did also. We had snacks and went to do errands. I returned a stroller so I could use coupons, which bought 2 pairs of PJ for Felicia thank you saved $14, yeah. Chris exchanged a ratchet at Sears then went and got fishing line supplies at the boat store. At home we got ready to go to a party at a friends house, the kids swam, eat and had fun. Later we changed and put the boat on the suburban and headed to maximo launch for the fireworks at St Pete beach. WOW!! everyone loved it, Felicia in her PJ's and life vest pointed at the lights and talked. It was one of those great moments you take in because each person is happy and that is had with a large family. I call them zen family moments, we have so many of them that it really makes me feel blessed. I hope everyone else had a great holiday.

Where is Eagan Sleeping?
He is back to his old ways again. The boy was so tired he fell asleep in the tub, yes I was watching him and as he lay floating the eyes got heavy and off he went. He has been so tired that he is asleep by 7 pm this the boy who goes to bed at 9 pm. I let him eat lunch in the playroom while watching a movie. To my surprise a half eaten sandwich was laying in front of him while he slept.
