This weekend we had the boat at a friend's the Guinan's so we went to Weedon Island. A beautiful refuge for animals with a sandbar near it to play on. The boys found another set of boys to play 500 ALIVE, so new game with a ball. Sunday, before we went on the boat to Shell Key, our favorite place, the boys helped Chris with the lawn. Usually this is my weekend chore but he was nice enough to lend a hand this time. We brought along Chase for Caleb and Billy for Dayne to pal around with. The boys caught fish and crabs, which were walking around in little armies. That is what the boys called them, hundreds of them crawling into the marsh weeds. Felicia tried out the swim wings today and LOVED them. She fell into the water and was like WOW I am floating, FUN!!!!!

Doing Her Own Thing
Felicia always does what she wants to do. The boys are yelling the song from lion king as she does her own thing she does sing with them but can ignore them very well. The sketcher is usually in her hands, she does draw on it alot. She loves the stroller and has taken to putting babies in it this week. Shoes are a great toy for her, most of the time she will wear them on her hands but now has figured out how to put them on her feet all by herself.
Lowry Park Zoo
On Tuesday I took the kids to Lowry Park Zoo. My boys love the animals and we played in the water section of Australia. The animals are moved around some because they are building a new flume ride, so fun. Caleb took many photos while we were there and will create an animal book for himself later this summer. Eagan walked with the group, yes I consider us a group on these types of outings. A snake tried to charm him at the glass, it climbed up to his face. Dayne liked the turkeys and warthog, quoting Pumba. Felicia just looked and watched it all. After lunch we headed home because we still had swimming to go to in the afternoon.

Father's Day
We took Chris to breakfast but everywhere we went it was packed and it was before 9 am, I guess the dad's were up early. After we found out that the bowling alley was open and it is $1.50 morning so we went home for socks and enjoyed a string. Caleb scores 117 and Chris just beat that with 120, the rest of us had fun. Chris got some quiet time at the boat store were he picked out a new pair of sunglasses. The evening ended with his favorite take out Moe's and after the kids were asleep milkshakes. The each told him how daddy's loves them and each response is different. He hangs out with me--Dayne. I love daddy--Eagan. He helps me make stuff--Caleb. Felicia just smiles and I can see him melt.

Pool Talk
Gummy Hair
Check out my little girls hair, yes that is a fruit snack and no one would admit to doing the deed. I left to get a hair cut for half an hour and that is what I came home to see. I tried peanut butter and left the dog outside so she would be liked, then froze it with ice cubes and it finally came off. Hurray!!! for MOM.

Highland Aquatics Park
This place is fabulous, lifeguards everywhere and small enough to know the kids are located. There are 2 large slides, 3 medium, 2 small and one toddler frog slide that everyone loves to slide down. Felicia liked walking in the zero depth area and Eagan went on the medium slides. Dayne and his friend Peighton were 1/2 inch to small for the big slides but they still had a great time. Can't wait to go again.

Boat Day
Another fabulous day on the boat. We brought Denny, Peighton, Aaron Stypinski and their friend Ben and Caleb's buddy, Chase. Yes 8 kids and 3 adults and 1 fight all day and that was at the end of the 5 hour day. They used the cast net, caught fish. Found 3 huge hermit crabs and countless small ones and snails. The guys threw out a line for a while and I watched as the girl took all the stuff out of the buckets and set them free. Eagan has his own method of fishing, from the bucket. He was so cute, look what I caught as he got his net out of the bucket. Fun day until we headed home, as we got near our exit we saw the big black cloud off to the west. It started to rain sideways as we got off our exit so we took a slow route home and got the boat washed for free. YEAH!!!!

House Day
Shoe Girl
Felicia loves to put anyones shoes on, it doesn't matter if it is her feet. Yesterday she tried to put Chris' sneakers on by the back door and fell causing her to hit the door jam and get a cut and bruise in the same spot on her head she always does. Now today she is wearing Caleb's heelys. I think she is a dog.

End of School
Well June 3rd came and went and now we have a 1st and 3rd grader with us. Dayne graduated and had a small ceremony at school, he received an art, PE and music award after the singing concluded. Caleb will move to 3rd grade and got an art and PE award also. I am excited that we don't have the mad push to get 4 kids dress, feed and out for school and crazied at having to entertain 4 kids all day long. Already this week we have hit the Elks pool 3 time and were at Chuck-E-Cheese today. The house is not getting as much attention as I would like due to mommies cruise director job title right now but I at least wore them out yesterday. Caleb and Eagan both napped after the pool, yeah. Dayne stayed over Peighton's house that day.

The Boat
WE LOVE THE DORADO!!!!!! If anyone hasn't realized it yet we, yes a family with 4 kids love to boat. The kids are at their very best on the boat. We enjoyed our day at Shell Key Preserve finding large snails, small hermit crabs, the regular crabs were traveling from the water to the island by 50 or more and seeing the new birds that have migrated to the key. The sand bar has changed so much that it is an island on the back side during low tide, which we love to launch boats with trailers on. Chris even caught a small nap.
Pool
Our second home during the summer is the pool. Everyone including Felicia loves it there, especially with her new tube. Eagan was trying to perfect his dives and pencil dives like his brother yesterday but did flops instead. Caleb and Dayne played water ball with Chris. No dinner there last night but everyone was tired. Then home to watch a movie on the new apple tv.
