Sitting Up

Well 2 days before she turned 6 months Felicia decided she needed a new view of the world and started to sit up. She thinks it is great and the boys are so impressed by her. The look of her face is priceless, she look of wonder from the new view she has on life. Eventhough it is our fourth set of milestones Chris and I still get excited and are amazed with all the kids.

Boat

We went out on the boat Saturday with Chris' dad and wife. The boys played all afternoon and we didn't return to the docke until dark, 6pm. While we were out we saw 4 seperate dolphin sightings. Caleb and Chris practiced the cast net and there were many boat launches and truck races on the beach. Miss Felicia loves to boat as well usually napping and giggling.

Thanksgiving

Wow, Thanksgiving at the Baldwin house was fun. 17 people had dinner and enjoyed each others company. My grandfather and his wife, Martha. Chris' mom, Ann and her husband, John. The Stypinski's and the Sprague's, so most on the crowd was kids under 9 years old.

The kids played and the adults eat and talked. Felicia even took a nap which is rare for her but it was probable the trauma that her big brother Eagan caused. She was in her stroller and he thought he would follow daddy out the back door with her while mommy was cooking in the kitchen. Next thing Chris sees is Felicia upside down in the stroller off the back step, not a scratch on her. thank you.

hope everyone had a lovely thanksgiving!!!

House for Felicia

On their day off the boys decided to build a small house for their sister. As you can see their architure skill are as good as their dads but they just needed more materials and I think the labor wasn't union.

Experiment

Caleb decided to see how many pens would fit in a shirt pocket. He counted 30 or that was all he could find in the house which is scary that we have so many. This is what he does besides art projects on his days off from school. The art project this week is a leaf wreath.

911

What's your emergency? It is 3:45 am on sunday night and we can't find Eagan. Chris and I looked all over the house 2 or 3 times before deciding to call for help. Frantic we called the police and they were their in minutes. By now the boys were up because every light in the house was on and when the police arrived they were wondering what was going on. They figured out Eagan was the cause because he is always sleeping in strange places. The police wanted to one last search of the house before the other 8 police cars got there and canvased the neighborhoood. So we started in his room and nothing, then our room and way under Felicia's crib where Chris and I both looked, I even brushed my hands under the there but with the light shining on him he was hugged against the wall. I was never to relieved in all my life. After the police left and assured us they get phone call alot and find kids in laundry basket and other strange places, Chris and I layed in bed just holding the boy. It was the longest 20 minutes of our lives!!!

Cheerios

Well Felicia tried cheerios and loved the challenge of trying to pick them up. She pursed that little mouth while her fingers were working so hard to grab at them. Caleb and I laughed but she was very persisitant as she is in everything she does already. Enjoy the video.

Dirt

Eagan is often found looking on the carpet for dirt. He finds a small piece and puts it in his fingernail then will carry it around for awhile and even sleep with it. One night Chris was fighting over it with him and he kept yelling my dirt and got very upset if daddy tried to touch it. He has had this habit since about 18 months and loved it during construction. Eagan could be found just looking threw small piles waiting for the right one.

Lake Kissimee State Park

Well camping was fun and exciting. We ate awesome ribs from Mario on friday night and then listened to poor Merideth scream most of the night because she didn't like the outdoors at night. So all tired and cranky the next morning we ate a wonderful egg and bacon breakfast then left for the docks. Here the Dorado decided that it may need a break and didn't want to start for Chris. He calmly walked around then decided to jump the boat and it was a wonderful sound to hear the engines roar. Then the Stypinski's boarded their boat and we ours along with the Davis' divided among us and off we went to the locking system. Inside we changed with the height of the lakes 5 feet while holding onto ropes. It is an amazing thing to do. On the other side is a dude ranch where we ate and saw a couple of cowboys. We raced back catching a glimce of an alligator. Sunday we packed it up and headed for home and our cozy beds, it was only 55 degrees when we got up sunday morning. The kids road bikes, played games and went on adventure hikes in the woods near camp. Everytime we go it is an adventure.

Scouts with Caleb

Caleb had a blast at the dual a thon, bike and run, race for cub scouts. He is a wolf scout this year and came in 3rd place for his age group and the one above him. They had water stations and number the kids really worked hard and enjoyed every minute of it. There they are getting ready to run.

Halloween

Happy Halloween!!! We had princess, hockey player, optimus prime and spiderman that went trick or treating while the sun was still out. Caleb was a trooper in all his hockey gear and called himself rotten because he was stinky. Dayne lost the mask after a few house and we found Chris wearing it. Eagan was all over the place so Daddy had Eagan patrol. We met up with friends and had a fabulous night.

Where's Eagan Sleeping?

The sleeping bandit strikes again. I thought I heard a noise the other night only to find him sleeping facing the wall at the top of the stairs but by the time I got the camera he was laying down. The next night he was so tired he fell asleep watching the great pumpkin charlie brown on the couch. He is so funny that sometimes he wakes earlier than anyone and just goes back to sleep next to my bed on the floor. I have to look before I get out of bed.

Update Eagan was found in Felicia's pack and play asleep where will he strike again.

Chris finally saw Eagan pass out in an unusual spot on 11/7/07 he went behind the couch to find dirt and we found him asleep on the cold tile floor.

Even after the 911 call last night 11/20 we found him asleep in a new chair before we headed up to bed for the night. He will make us go insane.
